Re: Booting issue
That is bizarre. It almost looks like the 'date' command isn't working the way the script expects. Can you try running with the -r option? Like: ./image-cd.sh -r Also, could you try adding 'set -x' to the beginning of both scripts, and posting the output? That should show us exactly what's happening.

Re: Booting issue
Could you possibly insert the following line before line 46 in image-cd.sh?: echo $RELFLAG $ISOBOOT $IMAGEFLOPPYLOG and could you insert the following line before line 30 in image-floppy.sh?: echo $1 and run image-cd.sh again? When running from the CD, the filesystem is ISO, or UDF if it's a DVD. On...

Re: Booting issue
Hi osmiumusa What version of the Visopsys source are you using there? I'm curious about what's going on with the image-cd.sh and image-floppy.sh scripts (I'm not familiar with MagicISO or how it does things, but it sounds like it might be screwing up the filesystem organization a little bit). I'm as...

Re: Visopsys Build Help
Hi sundhar,
Those lines don't really indicate the actual error; are there any messages that come slightly before that?

Re: Visopsys discussion forum
Hi Raimundo, There does seem to be a problem/bug with VPC and the way it implements task switching, and so far I haven't been able to come up with a workaround. I've discussed it with an engineer at Microsoft but we didn't come up with a solution. Visopsys uses the built-in mechanisms of the x86 chi...

Re: Visopsys discussion forum
Hey RhapsodyGuru, thanks for the post.
I've just got a couple of little bugs that I want to fix before the release, so it really should just be another few days. Couple of weeks, tops. I hope!

Re: Visopsys discussion forum
Hi luis, I've just PMed you a couple of URLs to my latest development version. The text field horizontal-scrolling bug you mentioned should be fixed now. This version also contains a lot of work done to the driver for IDE and SATA disks, so it would be really good to know if it can now see all of yo...

Re: Visopsys discussion forum
Yup, that's a known problem. I haven't fixed it yet; that GUI widget is derived from the multi-line text area widget, and the 'scrolling' behaviour is wrong. It's definitely on my list!
Any others you can find?

Re: Visopsys discussion forum
Hi Andy, have you posted your to-do list or made it public? I noticed some other bugs and would like to share them. It is highly possible that you are aware of them already. Just curious. Thanks. Hi luis, I haven't made it public as it's not in an easily-consumed format like bugzilla. It's just a m...
