Hi! While I was testing Visopsys, I found some tricks that makes the system more useful (and fun). If you're a beginner, you'll find this as useful as I do. Now I'll show you how to make some things:
• Copy and delete: open a command window and:
-type cp [file or folder to copy] [folder to paste on] to copy something.
-type del [file or folder] to delete whay you want.
• Defrag: to defrag a hard disk, open a command window, type defrag and select the partition to defrag. This feautre can also be found in Disk Manager.
• Format: if you want to format a partition without opening Disk Manager, open a command window, type format and select the partition to format.
• Alt-Tab: press Alt-Tab on your keyboard to switch between windows.
• Translating: if you want to customize more Visopsys, open Configuration Editor and open one of this files:
-administration.conf
-desktop.conf
-network.conf
-programs.conf
Get fun translating!
EDIT: this method will be deprecated, as now we're using locales to translate the OS.
•No desktop: if you don't need a mouse to live, go to Display Settings and uncheck Boot in graphics mode. Press OK and restart. Whenever you want to return to graphics mode, type del /nograph and type reboot.
Please, post more tricks if you know them!
