I'm working on some new stuff
I'm trying to parse HTML
I'm planning to search html tags in file and when it finds <img = bla bla> something etc.
I will get the url and i will show image on screen it's pretty complicated but i can do it probably
Also I'm working on bottombar
C and visopsys API's very developer friendly
I love coding in visopsys
Only thing i want, GCC on visopsys
It would be nice
Also i will start developing security applications for visopsys.
It will be most secured system.
And i wish 2 more people can develop sound drivers and network drivers
Some New Stuff :D
Re: Some New Stuff :D
An HTML parser would be very handy. Even something simple, really - it wouldn't have to handle everything perfectly. It would be a big improvement on the current situation even if it could just process some tags, throw away the others, and show the document in a readable form.

Cool! I'm really glad to hear that.doga-1494 wrote:C and visopsys API's very developer friendly

I'd really like that, too. If the editor was improved, or another one was ported, it would make coding inside Visopsys a possibility.doga-1494 wrote:Only thing i want, GCC on visopsys

Configuring a GCC cross-compiler for Visopsys, and then compiling it with itself to produce a native Visopsys GCC, wouldn't be too too difficult. I've just been so busy with other stuff (mostly hardware support) that I haven't taken the time to do things like this.
Re: Some New Stuff :D
I suppose I'm most useful when I stick to the 'core' stuff, the kernel, etc., and let other people do the cool, sparkly userspace things
Re: Some New Stuff :D
Actually i've looked at porting GCC, and found it to be... outside my capabilities for now
Real life is kicking me hard right now (lots of flying & stuff to do) so i can't really find much time to dedicate to Visopsys. Or coding in General. Also i'm a VB guy, and learning C while experimenting with Visopsys is a fun but time-consuming process. I have several projects in mind It's just, with a brand new OS the possibilities are endless and i really like all the new stuff that keeps going on
I love how everyone can feel free to reinvent the wheel it's a nice programming excercise!
